Thomas facing battle for minutes with Noah

"My starters aren't playing in the fourth quarter either"

The Bulls planned to take Sunday off, but sometime soon, expect coach Scott Skiles to talk with Tyrus Thomas about his reduced role.

Thomas didn't play for the second straight game Saturday night after logging just 13 minutes 29 seconds of playing time in the last three games combined.

Meanwhile, across the court, Glen Davis, Thomas' boyhood friend, college teammate and an unheralded second-round pick, is in the rotation for the league-leading Celtics.
